The new Comedy Central series "Tosh.O" last week featured a video clip of Owens taking his place behind the mike at a fake news conference, where Owens said, "It's going to be a busy season; I figure I better get all my future apologies out of the way now.

"I'd like to apologize to my teammates and the coach for my excessive celebrations. I guess I'm the only one who gets excited.

"I would like to apologize for the 'Joe Buck Show.' Someone needs to apologize for that show.

"I'm sorry to ESPN 'SportsCenter' for dominating your highlights all the time. I know I am really awesome and make awesome plays, but in the interest of fairness, you got to show other people.


"I'm sorry about Windows Vista. It's not the operating system I thought it would be.

"I apologize for the stock market, for the housing market and the cash-only policy at most farmers markets."

I thought it was kind of funny.

I was watching an interview today with a reporter and Romo at Yankee stadium. He was with a kid who had a disease, lukemia makybe? Anyhow, the reporter says I know your probably sick and tired of hearing this, but T.O. was talking about your lack of ability to lead and fire up a team. Something along those lines.

Romo went on to say (my memory not actual quote) that he has no idea if Owens actually said that and you guys (reporters) sometimes take a lot of what he says out of context. He is a very talented reciever and hopefully some of the other teamates can help fill the hole he left, but it will be difficult. He also was saying other nice things about Owens.

He seems to be OK with T.O. and like him as a person and player.

Actually, for T.O., he's pretty careful about what he says about Tony.
I dont think T.O. ever said anything like Romo not being able to lead a team.
