Guru 2006 NFL Preview - Buffalo Bills Projected Record 6-10, 3rd Place AFC East Projected Schedule W/L @New England (L) @Miami (L) NY Jets (W) Minnesota (W) @Chicago (L) @Detroit (W) New England (L) Green Bay (W) @Indianaplois (L) @Houston (L) Jacksonville (L) San Diego (W) @NY Jets (L) Miami (W) Tennessee (L) @Baltimore (L) There are several common denominators with teams that are this far down on the list. Several have first time Head Coaches. Others have big questions marks at the quarterback position. Some have both, and like their division counterparts in New York, the Buffalo Bills come into the season with a new head coach and a quarterback controversy. How the Bills handle these issues will determine their level of success in 2006. To see the rest of my Bills' preview, check out TheSportsGuru.com

| Re: Guru 2006 NFL Preview - Buffalo Bills Thanks, Guru. Always enjoy reading your previews on the NFL teams. I think I'm gonna agreee that it'll be a long season for the Bills this year. Who thinks that 6-10 is too generous?

Re: Guru 2006 NFL Preview - Buffalo Bills Definitely too generous -- they could also lose the second game to the Jets, to Minnesota, to Green Bay, San Diego and Miami. I'm thinking 4-12 or 3-13 is more likely than a six-win season.

Re: Guru 2006 NFL Preview - Buffalo Bills I am just not as high on the Jets as some people seem to be....Minnesota is a train wreck...Bufflao always plays tough at home and I am banking on them being a tough out up there....

Re: Guru 2006 NFL Preview - Buffalo Bills You have them beating Miami which I assume is a cold weather/home game pick. But this Bills team has the worst quarterback situation in The NFL, not one reliable QB with any foreseeable potential. After that horrendous draft they had (a DB they drafted entirely too high, when the secondary seems like the one area of the team that is already sufficient) when they desperately need offensive and defensive line help, a quarterback (they were in the group of 4-9 picks that needed a quarterback and inexplicably passed on both Cutler and Leinhart). I think Willis McGahee can be a game changer, but with no reliable passing game and no run blocking, he will probably have another slightly above average season similar to last year's campaign. So yeah, 4-12 sounds about right, with the best case scenario being 6-10.
