Re: Bills to Toronto creates international anxiety

I hate to see any team move. I had to go through it once when the Browns moved to Buffalo. I would rather see them add a few teams if they want to expand out of the US. Canada is right around the corner, but I keep hearing they may go south into Mexico also.

The league isn't going to expand anytime soon and as for Mexico, I mean the fact that they are seriously considering building a wall ala the Great Wall Of China to restrict access to the US would sort of tell me that the NFL wouldn't locate a team there. It would be hilarious to watch them try though!

I don't see why the wouldn't consider Mexico City, considering they've already played multiple exhibition games there.

Re: Bills to Toronto creates international anxiety

Personally, I would hate to see the bills move. The Bills have always been my favorite NFL team (probably like them more than even my hometown Lions... maybe) because my Dad grew up in Niagra. I understand if financial you have to move, like if the canadian bills is worth more than the US bills...( raises eyebrows)... but I would hate it. HATE IT.

I've never been there, but I am sure they have TVs. If ratings is an issue with the NFL, how big would the only team in the country draw. Plus they have sold out every game they have had. They may give them a few more exhibition games to make sure they keep it up, but I see this as a lock for the future as well.

And its not like playing in Mexico City means Americans will instantly stop watching their games either.
You could effectively double your TV audience while selling out every game.
