ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - No surprise that cornerback Jason Webster wasn't interested in looking back Tuesday after his first practice since signing with the Buffalo Bills.
"I'm not focusing on the past," said the seven-year NFL veteran, who is coming off three injury-filled seasons that led to Atlanta releasing him two weeks ago. "I'm looking forward to being part of the Buffalo Bills organization."
For Webster, who signed a one-year contract, the Bills offer an opportunity to restart what began as a promising career. He immediately becomes Buffalo's most experienced defensive back and has a chance to take over the starting job vacated by Nate Clements' free agency departure.
"I'm very motivated, very encouraged," Webster said. "I'm coming to be my best."
