Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - The man who opened up a roster space for special teams players in the NFL will now hold a place forever next to the best Bills' players of all-time.
The team has announced that Steve Tasker will be the 24th member of the Bills' Wall of Fame, having his name enshrined inside Ralph Wilson Stadium, alongside other Bills greats of past seasons.
"The first thing that I thought of was all of the guys that are already up there," said Tasker, in a prepared statement. . "Guys like Eddie Abramowski and Billy Shaw to Joe DeLamielleure and Fred Smerlas and all the way up to the guys that I played with like Kent Hull, Darryl (Talley), Thurman (Thomas), Andre (Reed) and Jim (Kelly). How cool it is to be in that group? It's a small group."
