The Buffalo Bills drafted Stanford QB Trent Edwards in the third round, so you'd assume the team had no immediate plans for him to start. But Edwards earned a lot of praise for his arm strength, accuracy, and intelligence, and not everyone's sold on J.P. Losman. So when does Edwards make his first start for the Bills?

Never. I'm a big JP Losman believer and think that he's gonna be better than Jim Kelly. Edwards spends his time on the bench as Losman continues to grow and gain experience.

I haven't seen a lot of Bills games lately, but the ones I have seen must not have been the same as you. I don't get any indication that he is going to be better than Kelly. What am I missing??

Wow... Losman will wind up better than Kelly. Bold prediction. So far, I haven't seen anything to support that prediction.

Better than Kelly, ha. Losman improved last season but can he take it the additional, "successful" step forward? Doubt it, in fact, no way.......Edwards starts 2008, outside 2009 with Losman traded to Cleveland to back up Quinn.
