Is .500 an accomplishment?

The Buffalo Bills have a chance to finish the season 8-8 with a win in Baltimore. While seemingly unlikely, I never discount my team. Anyway, getting to the thread title what are some thoughts? If we are to hit .500 I think it is a major accomplishment under the Levy/Jauron Era. Going into the season I expected no more than a 5-11 season. Low and behold, we found ourselves with a legitmate Wild Card hope, but blew it with a lost to the Titans. All in all, I think seeing JP's development and the team really mesh together the latter half of the season is promising and is more than I could have expected

Re: Is .500 an accomplishment?

Yeah, I agree - finishing .500 would be a great step forward for this Bills team. They've played a lot better than I expected, I'll tell you that. Losman may not be a bust after all. Baltimore's playing to lock up a first-round bye, though, so it definitely won't be easy.

Cool Re: Is .500 an accomplishment?

Yes, considering how they started, it would be an accomplishment - but over the years I've noticed a strong finish doesn't necessarily translate to a good season next year. You have to go out and earn it.
