New England Pats @ Buffalo Bills

The Patriots won a 19-17 nailbiter when these two clubs met back in week 1, and at that time, you got the feeling that the Bills were going to be a contender in the AFC East. Since then, however, Buffalo had stuggled. They've won just 1 of their last 4 games, and after getting pounded by Chicago on the 8th, they were actually upset by the Detroit Lions on Sunday. This doesn't bode well for their chances in the rematch with a New England team that is 4-1 and fresh off the bye week. Pats win this one, 28-7.

Re: New England Pats @ Buffalo Bills

this game could be just about the Pats final step to the playoffs

im not sying they will win out, but they dont have to, they only need to win their division

week one was a bit of a fluke

a freak play to start it off and the Brady was trying to find a groove with his new receivers

they will win this one easily

30 - 12

Re: New England Pats @ Buffalo Bills

Bills win in an upset 21-20......
the Bills need to maintain motivation when on defense and let their speed on defense take down the Pats....in their last meeting overpursuit led to big running plays from Maroney and Dillon. If the linebackers can balance blitzing and staying at home to finish tackles, this game could become closer than anticipated. As a Bills fan, I always believe they have a chance. We have the talent its just our motivation and chemistry on the field together, these young guys starting like Ko Simpson and Donte Whitner are the keys to our game against the Pats. Look for the Bills special teams to dominate and keep them close in this matchup

Post New England Pats @ Buffalo Bills - AP Recap

Here's a brief AP recap of Buffalo's 28-6 loss to New England on Sunday.

Quote:
CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Football :: Dillon, Brady help Pats extend hex against Bills
October 23, 2006

Corey Dillon ran for two touchdowns in the first half, and Tom Brady threw for two more in the second to pace the visiting New England Patriots to a 28-6 victory Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Dillon scored on eight- and 12-yard runs in the first quarter for the Patriots (5-1), who forced three turnovers en route to beating the Bills for the seventh consecutive time and for the 12th time in the last 13 games between the teams.

The Patriots led 14-3 at halftime, then turned the game into a blowout on a 35-yard touchdown pass from Brady to Chad Jackson late in the third quarter. Brady added a five-yard scoring pass to Doug Gabriel midway through the fourth and finished 18-for-27 for 195 yards.

The Bills, meanwhile, struggled on offense all afternoon. Running back Willis McGahee was held to 59 yards on 20 carries, and quarterback J.P. Losman was intercepted once and fumbled twice. Losman has committed eight turnovers in his last three games.
So much potential on this Bills team, but they never seem to deliver in the big games. And Losman's become a turnover machine... time to make the change at quarterback, you think?
