| Owens out for second consecutive game Toe injury will sideline Bills WR Owens for second consecutive game

PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- A sprained toe will prevent Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens from practicing until next week, meaning he'll miss Saturday's preseason game at Green Bay.
Bills coach Dick Jauron ruled Owens out from playing this week after the receiver missed his second consecutive practice Wednesday. Jauron said Owens isn't expected to resume practicing until "next week some time."
Except for a brief 20-minute workout during practice Monday, Owens has been out since jamming his foot during a 21-18 loss to the Tennessee Titans in the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 9.
After playing the Packers on Saturday, the Bills have two more preseason games -- at the Pittsburgh Steelers on Aug. 29 and home against the Detroit Lions on Sept. 3.
Later Wednesday, the Bills announced that they had waived Ryan Neill, their long snapper for the past two seasons. The move indicates that Garrison Sanborn, an undrafted free agent out of Florida State, has won the job, since he's the only other long snapper on Buffalo's roster.
