When the Buffalo Bills put individual game tickets on sale to the general public July 14, no tickets are expected to be available for either the Sept. 9 opener against the Denver Broncos or the Oct. 8 Monday Night Football showdown with the Dallas Cowboys.
And only “scattered” tickets are likely to be available for three other games — the New York Jets on Sept. 30, the Baltimore Ravens on Oct. 21 and the New England Patriots on Nov. 18.
The bottom line for the Bills: After failing to sell out the last four games last season, team officials this year are optimistic about selling out the whole season.
“Our goal is to sell out each and every game,” said Russ Brandon, the team’s executive vice president of business operations. “It drives all our remaining business platforms. With the interest that we have seen to date, our anticipation is that we will sell out all eight games.”
