WWE will be having their Wrestlemania XXIV press conference at 3 PM eastern today at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. All of the major WWE superstars will be there (then fly to Phoenix for Monday Night RAW) as well as boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr.

It's believed the official match announcement between The Big Show and Mayweather (along with stipulations) will be given at the press conference.

Mayweather's birthday is today so he will not be appearing LIVE on WWE TV this evening.

The press conference can be viewed at WWE.com...highlights will be shown during RAW.

What do you think they'll wind up doing with Mayweather, Empire? They can't have him wrestle with little or no training, right?

Have to assume they've been training him for at least a few weeks. By the time WM rolls around (over four weeks), he should be okay with the basics. He won't be doing any moonsaults, lol.

Plus, Big Show is a veteran...but the MASSIVE size difference will be interesting. However, if it is a singles match, it's not like Mayweather will be able to do anything (believeable) besides punch. That's one issue that could bite them. But it's surely going to be one hell of a spectacle either way.

That match wasn't that bad. I think we can be sure Mayweather will be in better shape than LT was.

I think they will have a boxing match. iin 05' they had big show do a sumo match with a sumo wrestler. Wouldnnt be a suprise

They had Tyson come in at one time. All he did was follow DX around. At wrestlemania he turned on them and punched Shawn Michaels. They can make a storyline for anybody. They just want him involved. They could just make him the corner man in a match.

Well, on Raw, they sure made it sound like it was gonna be a one-on-one match. So we'll see.

I haven't been keeping up with wrestling for some time now, but I caught the end of Raw last night. Looks like the Heartbreak Kid is gonna wrestle the Nature Boy at Wrestlemania. That should be a 5 star match. Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair always give 110% on the big stage. If they build and book the Big Show/Mayweather match right, there's two pretty good reasons to watch it, I'd imagine.
