WEC Next Week: Three Title Fights

Well the WEC will be back next Wednesday on Versus in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The main event will be a bout for WEC Welterweight Championship. WEC Welterweight Champ Carlos Condit (21-4-0) will defend his title vs. WEC new comer Carlo Parter (21-5-1). Condit has great submissions and striking and will not get tired. Prater is very well round does nothing bad, but nothing great and he is also very welled conditioned and won't get tired. I like Condit via submission in round 3.

The night's second big fight is also for a title in WEC's Lightweight Division. When Rob McCullough (15-3-0) will defend his title vs. Jamie Varner (13-2-1). McCullough is an incredibly powerful striker, who can knock you out with any blow. Varner is well rounder and will look to do anything to avoid striking with McCullough, so expect him to try and take the fight to the ground. I like McCullough via TKO in Round 2.

In the night's third and final title bout is in the WEC's Phantomweight Division (135 lbs.). When Chase Beebe (13-1-0) will defend his Phantomweight Title vs. Miguel Torres (19-1-0). Beebe is a striker who will look to knock Torres down and beat him with the ground and pound. Torres has great submissions and is a powerful striker. I think he has the best chance of any challenger to knock off a champ on Wednesday. I like Torres via submission in Round 4 to become the WEC's new Phantomweigth Champion.

Here is the Full Card:

Carlo Prater Vs. Carlos Condit (For Welterweight Title)
Jamie Varner Vs. Rob McCullough (For Lightweight Title)
Miguel Torres Vs. Chase Beebe (For Phantomweight Title)
Manny Tapia Vs. Antonio Banuelos
Hiroyuki Takaya Vs. Leonard Garcia
Josh Grispi Vs. Mark Hominick
Del Hawkins Vs. Coty Wheeler
Charlie Valencia Vs. Yoshiro Maeda
Scott Jorgensen Vs. Jesse Moreng

Again this Event is Wednesday February 13, at 9 PM Eastern on Versus.
