This fight was scheduled to happen last year but fell apart when the organization that planned it canceled the show. But now with Kimbo Slice signed with Pro Elite, they have scheduled the fight on their next Elite-XC Showtime show according to MMA Junkie.

Saturday night, February 16th on Showtime, Kimbo Slice will fight Tank Abbott in the main event.

Abbott is not known as your classic fighter but he's always exciting and willing to throw and get hit. So this should be an interesting fight.

I want to see Kimbo fight a top UFC fighter I don't know what weight class he is but I want to see him versus the best of that division.

hes fought a UFC fighter before, and lost. That wasnt even the best they had to offer, he was some nobody fighter

When Slice fought that guy, something Gannon, it was a no-holds barred fight. Only after Gannon beat Slice did the UFC bring him in, where he proceeded to knocked around until the UFC stopped booking him.

That debacle was in 2003, Slice has since been training with Bas Rutten for over a year (I think) so he has improved. The question is, against a legit fighter, if it goes to the ground, can Slice handle himself?

With Tank, I don't think they will spend any time on the ground (unless someone gets KOd). lol

Well, Sean Gannon only had one UFC fight. He lost to Branden Hinkle via TKO in the first round.

He wasn't a top fighter, he has not fought in an MMA fight since 2005.
