Versus extends Cagefighting TV deal
Cable outlet Versus has completed a deal with World Extreme Cagefighting to extend an exclusive partnership between the two companies. The deal will bring to the network 15 additional live WEC events and 20 episodes of "WEC WrekCage," which features a mix of the top matches from WEC events never before seen on television and Versus' best live events. "We are very excited to announce the extension of our partnership with World Extreme Cagefighting, the premier brand in mixed martial arts," said Marc Fein, senior VP of programming and production, Versus. -- TV Week
