Boxer and former heavyweight champion Trevor Berbick was found dead earlier today, and police are ruling it a homicide. According to the AP, Berbick was "found dead in a church courtyard Saturday with chop wounds to his head." I'm too young to have seen Berbick in his glory and not that huge of a boxing fan to know much about the guy. However, that's a terrible way to go. R.I.P. and hopefully they find the person(s) responsible.

Does anyone remember any of his career? What kind of fighter was he?

Ali's last fight was a forgettable affair against Berbick...and later on he got into a parking lot fight with Larry Holmes...Holmes walked on top of a few cars to go beat the crap out of Trevor...those are my two memories of the guy...that and when he lost to Mike Tyson.
