This has kind of been lost in the shuffle, maybe because Boston lost the game, but on Wednesday Curt Schilling became the 14th pitcher in Major League history to record 3,000 career strikeouts. Of course, he's lost three straight starts and hasn't won in his last five decisions, too. What do you make of Schilling's career thus far. Where does he rank among the all-time greats?

But he's definitely not a Hall of Famer. He's never had the really big season ( no Cy Young awards) and his ERA and HR allowed numbers are always high. Good pitcher, not great.
