i know that may seem like an odd title for a thread in this section, but im about as pissed as can be at the Red Sox

I can't seem to figure out the Sox- they look good on paper:

Offense:

Ortiz- 47 HR, 121 RBI
Ramirez- 34 HR, 100 RBI

Defense:

Alex Cora
Mike Lowell
Coco Crisp
Alex Gonzalez

Pitching:

Schilling
Papelbon

But, they aren't playing well at all.... In fact, they have the worst August record in the majors.

It is time for a turn-around win-from-behind comeback that could bring the Red Sox to the promised land, again. But this year doesn't look that good for them. I don't think they lost that much from the Yankees' acquisition of Johnny Damon. Except losing their favorite player to money, Damon hasn't accomplished that much in pinstripes. I think the Yankees buy players when they see them before doing any type of specific research that reveals that they may be on the way down. In other words, Epstein has been doing a great job and I expect you guys to make the Playoffs this year somehow, someway.
