Jed Lowrie hit one of Boston's three homers off Roy Halladay and the Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-4 on Monday.
Jeff Bailey and Chris Carter also connected against Halladay, who allowed four runs and eight hits in five innings.

Justin Masterson pitched three-plus innings for the Red Sox and was charged with three runs and six hits.
Lowrie finished with three hits and Bailey and Carter each went 2-for-4.
Travis Snider hit his third home run of the spring for Toronto.

spring training may not mean much but that is a real bad outing for Halladay

Re: Red Sox Top Blue Jays

I believe that spring training is all for pitchers after the first two weeks. Once the batters are ready to go. They start will 30 pitches, to 50 pitches, to 60 pitches, some sort of progressive amount.

So to me if Roy Halladay had several bad starts, that could be a red flag for the Blue Jays.
