| Red Sox in last place The Boston Red Sox are 3-4 following a three-game sweep in Toronto. According to the Associated Press, "The Red Sox are in the AL East cellar for the first time since April 10, 2005, when they were 2-4." I know it's early but, any reason to panic? Boston heads home at last -- and in last place following 7-4 loss at Toronto - MLB - Yahoo! Sports

| Re: Red Sox in last place Nah ... the percentages per game can make wild swings at this point. Now if they are there in a month ... then I might be concerned at the very least. The team (theoretical) dynamics are all there. They just need to all get on the same page.

| Re: Red Sox in last place Their bridge to Okijima and Papelbon is very shaky. Lugo is even worse than the previous years, if that is possible. But nobody else looks super in the AL East. Toronto got some great pitching in their first 6 though. They are better than I thought.

| Re: Red Sox in last place dont fret people. in a week or two everything will be back to normal. the red sox and yankees will be battling for first, and the blue jays will be sitting in third with the orioles and devil rays fighting for fourth. |
