i wake up this morning a conflicted Red Sox fan

on the one hand, im happy they won another World Series ......... on the other hand im embarrassed at the way they did it

the SWEPT the Rockies ...... how classless is that ...... 4 games were played, and the Red Sox won them all

how in the hell is Todd Helton supposed to go back to his mansion and deal with this ? ......... has anyone thought of that ?

i think maybe Boston sports as a whole is just out of control

the Patriots are running up the score ...... BC let Va. Tech think they had a chance ....... the Red Sox swept the Rockies ......... what's next ...... maybe the Celtics will be beating the Knicks 70-40 at halftime .. then the 3 stars will come out during the break to club some baby seals at mid-court

this needs to stop ..... no other team should ever have to suffer a World Series sweeping ......... if a team leads 3 games to none, they will be forced to lose the 4th game to avoid the sweep

we need a letter to be written to Selig (Lefty youre in charge of that) ..... we need a petition (LSC youre in charge of that) ..... we need a swift marketing campaign (GDK your in charge of that)

let's end the sweep ......... people have feelings

Gee, when I first saw this posting, I thought that it was about the way the Red Sox act. Manny and Ortiz seem to think they are bigger than the game, and it is rubbing off on guys like Pedroia. Any ball that Ortiz lets go by him HAS to be a ball in his opinion, and he doesn't bother to run out anything that isn't a clean hit. Manny just embarrasses himself and his team simply be being himself. Papelbon and Beckett are smug jerks, and I suspect that the way Papelbon had to be pulled off the field after the Cleveland series that he may have a drinking problem to boot.
