as it stands right now, it looks to me like the Boston Red Sox have home filed advantage throughout the entire playoffs

they are currently one game ahead of the Indians with only one game to play ... and the Red Sox have the advantage over the Indians 5-2 in the season series, which i believe would be the tie-breaker should Cleveland win and Boston lose tomorrow

this means the Red Sox get to decide when to start the playoffs

i say start them asap ..... their bats are really warming up and the Yankees pitching seems to be struggling a bit .... no need to give NY an extra days rest imo

just think, if MLB were run like pre-chase era NASCAR the Red Sox would have already won the title as MLB champions for 2007 as they have the best record and hold the tie-breaker with Cleveland
