Tampa Bay brought in their best reliever for the top of the 9th inning and once again the Sox kicked his can. Reyes has only lost 4 saves and this one tonight was number 3 to the Red Sox. Two homers in the 9th gave the Sox a tie and a two run lead. Detroit lost tonight giving the Sox at the very least the wild card. Papelbon in for the save. 3 batters and about 14 pitches and they clinch a spot in the playoffs.

Wheeler is by far their best releiver, Reyes is garbage. Wheeler came in and struck out Ortiz and Lowell in the eighth, but then Madden decided that Reyes, who he knows the Red Sox own, should come in and lose the game. He gave up homers to Varitek and then, omg, Julio Lugo. Boston should send Tampa Bay part of their proceeds from the post-season!
