Curt Schilling

"I wasn't sure what I was going to be this year," Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling told reporters after yesterday's game with Seattle. "I feel I'm pitching better than I ever have." Hard to believe, considering Schilling's a three-time 20 game winner, but he is off to an awesome start: 3-0, 1.64 ERA, 0.64 WHIP and 16 strikeouts.

Is this a fluke or is Schilling going to have a potential Cy Young season?

Re: Curt Schilling

I bet the CY Young comes down to him or Randy Johnson, but yeah, he could very easily win it. I'm sure he'll have at least 20 wins.

Re: Curt Schilling

Fluke? No, I think Curt Schilling has enough skins on the wall to prove that this is no fluke. He said on Opening Day that he hasn't felt this healthy since 2002. Oh, what a year this could be.

Re: Curt Schilling

This year will definitely be better than last year. Any pitcher could!

Cool Re: Curt Schilling

I hate to admit it but I don't think it's a fluke. He's an impossible guy to like, but he's a hell of a pitcher.

Three starts is the mark...if he is good through three, he should be the real deal...though its a long way to dumb him Mr. Cy Young yet...

Re: Curt Schilling

If Schilling is on your team, you love him. If not, you can't stomach him. I am one of those that doesn't care for him too much, but that being said I can see he is going to be really tough this year. He has excellent command early. My fervent wish is that Clemens signs with Boston, and these he and Schilling get in a fight while jostling for position at the post game buffet table.
