I'll jump in here and say no .... but, they have squandered away leads like this before. I do believe that this team is one of the best they have fielded in many years. Hopefully the small bumps in the road can be smoothed over without a lot of trouble.

I will give you a more definitive answer in November !!!

it would be tough for them to lose the division ..... even if they play .500 ball the rest of the way the Yankees and Blue Jays will have to play great to catch up, let alone pass the Sox up

No way they lose this division. The pitching is just too good. No Butch Hobsons on the team either to make 3 throwing errors a game.

Does anybody remember that? Butch Hobson was like Steve Sax and Chuck Knoblauch. He couldn't throw the ball.
