Cool Red Sox cruising

After a recent scare when the Yankees shaved 5 games of Boston's AL East lead in a week, the Red Sox are now ahead by 11 games in the AL East.
Obviously, nobody is going to catch them.

No they need to worry about fine tuning their team for the playoffs. What types of moves do they need to make, if any?

Re: Red Sox cruising

Dump Lugo and get a decent hitting shortstop, and how about getting some middle relief.

But yeah, the Sox will not be caught this year in the AL East... ( not so much because they're so great, but rather that the Yankees suck )

Re: Red Sox cruising

Lugo is the weakest link as of right now. They should have just paid Cabrera after 2004.

They're not dumping Lugo. They just signed him to a big contract...

Re: Red Sox cruising

Sox have lost two in a row.... and one of those losses came against Jeff Weaver.
