Dustin Pedroia

So what's the good word on this kid Dustin Pedroia, the rookie second baseman from the Red Sox? He had a career high five RBI in Boston's 10-2 win over the Giants yesterday, including a two run shot over the Green Monster off of Barry Zito. He's currently hitting .331, and has a .417 average over his last 32 games, according to the Associated Press. So is Pedroia Rookie of the Year material?

Re: Dustin Pedroia

Dustin Pedroia ended up the season hitting .317 with 86 runs scored and only 6 errors in the field...is he a keeper?...a key member of the team?

Re: Dustin Pedroia

You better believe it. Not only is he productive, but his salary is low and they can control him for the next five years.

A GM's dream.

Re: Dustin Pedroia

As a Yankee fan I despise Pedroia but I's take him on my team. He almost pulled off an incredible DP last night. He isn't hitting much the last couple games though.

Cool Re: Dustin Pedroia

I agree, Legend. As a Yankee fan, he gets under my skin, but he's one of those winning-type players who could play for me any day of the week.
