well the time has come for another Sox - Yankees series and this one should be good

its supposed to finish up Sunday night on ESPN with a showdown between Beckett and Petite

i will be here each night chatting about the games, but i hope everyone will be here Sunday night as it is the biggest rivalry in all of sports and it will be on nationwide basic cable

hey bro i got to thinking on that other thread when you asked about the worst teams ever, and i actually looked it up

the worst teams i saw had about a .240 winning percentage at the moment the Yankees have a .431 so they have a ways to go

since 2002 the furthest is the Devil Rays (sorry Neo)

they finished 48 games out of first place in 2002

Well, I did say the Rays silly. They play close to where I live. People here say they suck. Though Delmon somebody once came in to where I work for icecream. He acted like he was somebody. I should have told him his team sucked. Well in 2002 anyway. LOL.

But look up the Spiders on Google. They were really bad. Of course what do you expect with that name. You know? Are there Spiders in Cleveland?

Heh. The Yanks have actually gained a bit of ground in the wildcard division thanks to a crummy week by Detroit and Chicago. They're only 7 games out.

By the way, I think the Yanks ended the 1912 season 55 games behind the Boston Red Sox, so you'll have to shoot higher (or lower, depending on how you look at it) this year, Simon.
