Everyone has an opinion about Barry Bonds. Curt Schilling backed off after expressing his, the same day he was reprimanded by Boston Red Sox manager Terry Francona."Everyone has days and events in life they'd love to push the rewind button on, yesterday was one of those days," Schilling wrote on his Web site, 38pitches.com. "Regardless of my opinions, thoughts and beliefs on anything Barry Bonds it was absolutely irresponsible and wrong to say what I did. I don't think it's within anyone's right to say the things I said yesterday and affect other peoples lives in that way.

As someone who's made it very clear I have major issues with members of the media that take little or no pride in their work it's the height of hypocrisy for me to say what I did, in any forum," he wrote. atleast schilling is truthful and tells the media how he feels, so what if its not politically correct, everyone knows bonds juiced,no one can grow that big naturally that quick, yes he did admit it, he and sheffield used the cream, the question isnt if he took ped's, the question is did he knowingly take ped's,hes still going to break the record and people will hate him and others will accept it, as for him cheating on his wife and taxes thats irrelevant..

Actually it may not even really be slander if his comment is made out of total ignorance and not malice...I think there are a lot of different rules to slander and libel, but I am not a lawyer (though I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night...never mind.. )
