Sox hit four straight home-runs

During the third inning of tonight's game against the Yankees, the Boston Red Sox hit four consecutive home runs for the first time in team history. Training 3-0, Manny Ramirez, J.D. Drew, Mike Lowell and Jason Varitek all went yard to give the BoSox the lead.

Wasn't the record in respect to hitting 4 straight homers off the same pitcher ???

It had to be a record for major leaguers hitting homers off of basically an A ball pitcher. If I never see Chase Wright again, it will be much too soon.

If I recall correctly, it was the first time in Sox team history they had ever hit four consecutive homers, and just the second time in MLB history that any pitcher had given up four straight.
