Today, the Boston Red Sox are scheduled to host the Los Angeles Angels at 10:05 am in the annual Patriot's Day game. I say scheduled because, according to the AP, "Sunday's contest between the teams was postponed because of poor weather conditions in the Northeast... [and] the forecast looks just as poor for Monday."

If it does go down, 2-0 Josh Beckett is set to face 1-1 Ervin Santana.

It's clearing up here in Antartica. The ground is still drenched from yesterday.

Josh Beckett should have an excellent start this game, taking advantage of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in front of thousands of fans cheering at Fenway.

Beckett did indeed have a good game, Marc, striking out five in a 7-2 win over the Angels. Ortiz homered and Manny drove in a pair of runs on the afternoon as well. Boston outscored the Angels 25-3 in the three games they played over the weekend, according to the AP. Talk about a dominant performance.

I was at todays game, and I have got to say it was one of the best games I have ever been to, for various reasons. Beckett did well, Los Angeles' pitching was beaten up badly in the 1st inning, but got stronger. All in all, I had an amazing, amazing time. It was a great game, I'm glad the rain let off so we could get in our Patriots' Day game!

We were RIGHT on the Third Base Line in the field box seats. Literally, 10 feet away from Manny. You could see us on the TV. It was awesome.

Manny looks in better shape then he has in years ........ even though he looks like he lost 50 pounds and is still wearing the same size uniform ..... looks like a sack of potatoes
