| Re: Devern Hansack no-hitter Devern Hansack of the Boston Red Sox threw an "unofficial" no-hitter yesterday, striking out six and keeping the Orioles hitless for five innings in a rain-shortened game. MLB rules were changed in 1991 to require a game go nine innings in order to count as an official no-hitter, but nonetheless, it's an impressive feat for this kid in his second major league start. What do you think of Hansack's performance on Sunday, as well as his future?

| Re: Devern Hansack no-hitter Harvey Haddiz lost credit for the perfect game he threw in 1959 that went into extra innings before he surrender a hit that beat him when that ruling came down. The Orioles were 3-16 against Boston this year. This kid could probably have no-hit them for nine if it went that far. They have had their bags packed since August.
