The Red Sox games are being played out as if they are allowing me to write the endings for these contests! They have now lost five in a row to the Royals, including a game where they came back from 5 down to take the lead only to lose in the ninth, and an extra-inning six run loss. Are any serious Red Sox fans watching this debacle, or have they given up the ghost?

They have really mystified me this year.They had a great 1st half and didn't start off real bad after the All Star break but when they started to falter they dropped like a two ton anchor. Other teams go through the same disabled scenerio as they have but don't totally fall aprt as they have. Now that most of the team is back, other than pitching, they still are falling.

I guess they need one of those life line units. "Help me, I've fallen and I can't get up !!!"

I'll still stand by them but hopefully they will do something about the pitching problems for next year. I thought by now they would have already learned that lesson.
