I just heard that the Sox are trying to sign Julio Lugo as their shortstop. Boy, the Red Sox try a different shortstop every year....Cabrera, Renteria, Gonzalez...

They should have held onto Gonzalez. He was a great defensive player who occasionally hit. But then again, they should have held onto Cabrera to begin with.
