Boston College vs. Notre Dame

Boston College (6-0, Road: 1-0) vs. Notre Dame (1-5, Home: 0-2)
Saturday, October 13, 2007, 3:30 pm EDT

BC is 6-0 for the first time in more than six decades. Can they remain undefeated by beating the Irish on Saturday?

I don't think the Irish have a chance against BC. Ryan is a great QB and they will pull this one out.

Ryan is playing good football. He has completed 160 completed passes for 1857 yards, 15 td's and only 5 int's. He has only been sacked 5 times. He has also rushed for 28 yards and 1 touchdown.

Hesiman numbers if they keep winning...heard the kid from Hawaii has an ankle injury of late...and Brohm has a few losses...so who knows, Ryan has a shot.

He needs a signature win, though. Something that'll really impress the voters.

This certainly wouldn't be it, and there's not much love for the ACC among the media, so... hard to say where that signature win would come from.

Bad thing is, all the other candidates' teams are either stinking it up or have a huge loss.

Which is making this one of the dullest and hardest to predict Heisman races in years. Nobody's standing out.

Absolutely, he's having a record year. But he's a freshman, and freshmen don't win Heisman Trophies.

Exactly. And from what I've heard, isn't Texas Tech along that same lines as Hawaii. It's a passer's game and not much more?
