| Eagles vs. North Carolina State Matt Ryan had a huge day in the season opener, throwing for five touchdowns and 408 yards in a win over Wake Forest. This week, Boston College plays their second straight ACC opponent in the 0-1 N.C. State Wolfpack and former B.C. coach Tom O'Brien. This definitely looks to be a winnable game for Ryan and the Eagles. What do you think?

| Re: Eagles vs. North Carolina State I hope when N.C. State steps onto that field at Boston College, that Tom O'Brien has immediate regrets for leaving BC. I hope the fans boo him so loud that he will not even be able to communicate with his players. I know I have said it before, but coaches leave teams all the time, but it's pretty messed up to leave a great program for one within your conference that you will have to play a lot. I think Boston College wins this one. State has too many unanswered questions and the Eagles have a solid team and a very good QB in Ryan.

| Re: Eagles vs. North Carolina State The Eagles did indeed beat NC State, 37-17. According to the Associated Press, "The Eagles (2-0, 2-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference) scored 30 straight points after trailing 10-7... The Eagles first touchdown -- Matt Ryan's 15-yard pass to Kevin Challenger -- followed the first of Jamie Silva's two interceptions."
