| Re: Celtics' Jefferson has ankle surgery Celtics' Jefferson has ankle surgery
Boston, MA (Sports Network) - The Boston Celtics announced on Thursday that forward Al Jefferson had successful arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle.
Jefferson had the minor surgery, which was performed by team physician Dr. Brian McKeon, at New England Baptist Hospital and is expected to begin rehabilitation immediately.
The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 7.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 18.0 minutes per game last season, scoring in double figures 21 times I am high on this former high school to pros player. I am hoping this is not a chink in the armor...An Achilles heel of sort...I like to see him double those numbers given a doubling in playing time. |
