WALTHAM - It's no secret Knicks swingman Quentin Richardson despises the Celtics. His history with Boston includes talk about how the Celtics didn't scare him prior to a 45-point loss last season; an ejection along with Paul Pierce from a Martin Luther King Day game in January; and more trash talk after this season's first meeting.

He hates us because we have what he wants. A Championship ring. He scores about 11 points per game and Paul Pierce is at about 18 PPG. No real comparison.
