Wow, can't believe this series is underway already. Boston didn't get much of a rest, but it doesn't seem to have hurt them.

Re: Celtics Vs. Pistons

Celtics let one get away from them yesterday, and the series is going to Detroit tied 1-1. Can Boston win one on the road?

They have to win one on the road if they want to win this series, but what they showed me to believe they would, absolutely nothing.

Yeah, I agree. I think I said it before somewhere, but I knew Detroit could take one in Boston. I don't think the Celtics can return the favor, though.

Re: Celtics Vs. Pistons

Well, the Celtics shut my mouth last night, beating the Pistons 94-80 in Detroit last night to take a 2-1 series lead.
Garnett led the way with 22 points and 13 rebounds, and he, Allen and Pierce combined to score 47 points on the evening. Not too shabby, eh?

Re: Celtics Vs. Pistons

Nobody is factoring in Flip Saunders, who never gets over the hump. After this season, he won't be around in Detroit.

With the current set of playoff stats for this year they had no choice but to win. Hopefully it'll add a little confidence to their game and put a bit of fear into the remaining competition.
