| INDIANAPOLIS, April 12 (Ticker) -- With two plays, Anthony Johnson snuffed out a rally by the Boston Celtics and helped the Indiana Pacers to a much-needed victory. Johnson came up with a late steal and layup and Peja Stojakovic, Jermaine O'Neal and Austin Croshere each scored at least 20 points as the Pacers posted a 117-112 victory over the Celtics. Okay, like that wasn't expected. O'neal had a huge game against them...21 pts, 15 rbs, 7 assts,... Pierce did good (30 pts), but that kid Gerald Green continues to make the most of his new found playing time...he dropped in 22 points...and Perkins woke up with a 15 point 8 reb performance. |

| Re: Pacers Hold Off Celtics, Boost Playoff Chances How must Red feel knowing he is going to go to his grave without this team being competitive for over the last 20 something years of his life. Can this all be traced back to the death of Len Bias? |
