Georgetown's Jeff Green works out for Celtics

It looks like Georgetown University basketball star Jeff Green is going to the NBA afterall.

ABC 7 sports has learned that Green has signed with an agent, officially putting him in the NBA draft pool.

Green worked out for the Boston Celtics at McDonough Gymnasium Friday.

The Celtics have the No. 5 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Green was last season's Big East Player of the Year. The Hoyas forward helped lead Georgetown to the Big East Tournament title and the NCAA Final Four.

So, think maybe Boston will draft Green with that 5th overall selection?

If they can't get a good inside player, Jeff Green would be a good choice. He really impressed me during the tourney.

if they really wanted jeff Green they could probably trade down to 7 or 8 and still get him.
