| Re: Celtics To Pick 5th In 2007 NBA draft The Yahoo! Sports mock draft has Boston going after Brandan Wright, 6-10 forward, North Carolina. They say "Wright, with those condor arms, is a long, fluid offensive talent who will block shots and score around the basket. He isn't Durant, but he'll be a major scorer in the pros." So it looks like the Celtics should wind up with a decent player out of the whole thing.

| WALTHAM, Mass. - All that losing for nothing. After spending most of the season in contention for little more than a better position in the NBA draft, the Celtics picked up another loss in the league's draft lottery on Tuesday: the fifth overall pick — the worst-case scenario going into the night. "That's not where you wanted to see (our) name,'' coach Doc Rivers said at the team's practice facility after the Celtics effectively lost their chance to draft college phenoms Greg Oden or Kevin Durant. "You had ping pong ball parties in Boston, so I think a lot of people allowed themselves to fantasize. "I think we're going to have to continue to fantasize.'' Celtics' luck obviously a thing of the past - NBA - MSNBC.com |

| Re: Celtics To Pick 5th In 2007 NBA draft Maybe now they will look around at the total organization and see what else can be done to improve what they have and ways to become better at getting the needed players. I probably sound like a broken record but they need to deal Ainge out of the game.
