| Gomes admits Celtics lost on purpose Just heard on Mike & Mike where Ryan Gomes of the Boston Celtics has admitted that his team intentionally tanked their game against the Bucks so they could clinch the worst record in the league. I mean, everyone knew it, but to go on record admitting it to all the fans and to the league office? Dumb, dumb move. So what will the fallout from Gomes admission be?

| Re: Gomes admits Celtics lost on purpose Anyone foolish enough to wager on the Celts winning down the stretch? Still Gomes is a dummy...I penalize them a few lotto balls...no wait, I am a Celtic fan, what am I saying...Oden!...Oden!...Oden! |

| Re: Gomes admits Celtics lost on purpose Yeah, that's the thing. I mean, everyone knows you're doing it. Just don't ADMIT it to the MEDIA. Now this goofball just set up the possibility of fans filing a class action lawsuit because they team tanked a game they paid good money to see, plus possible sanctions from the NBA. Idiotic thing to do. |

| Re: Gomes admits Celtics lost on purpose I'm sure the team will do something to 'punish' him for saying such a thing to the public. A fine or something like that. It's just a stupid thing to admit...I'm sure his teammates aren't too happy with him saying that. It paints them in a bad light, too. |
