Earl Boykins scored 32 points on 13-of-19 shooting from the floor to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 98-89 victory over the Boston Celtics at the Bradley Center.
Charlie Bell added 25 points for Milwaukee, which got 21 points and 12 rebounds from Ruben Patterson. Dan Gadzuric ripped down 15 boards for the Bucks, who snapped a seven-game skid.
Michael Redd missed the game for Milwaukee, as he is nursing a sore left knee. Mo Williams also sat out with a knee injury for the Bucks.
Boston was also shorthanded, as leading scorer Paul Pierce remained sidelined with inflammation in his left elbow and a sore left foot.
Al Jefferson also missed the contest for the Celtics. Jefferson collided with teammate Ryan Gomes at practice on Tuesday, aggravating a left knee injury he originally suffered two weeks ago. The standout forward is listed as day-to- day.
