Al Jefferson has been the greatest discovery during this lost season in Boston. After a disappointing, injury-plagued sophomore campaign, Jefferson lost 30 pounds in the offseason and has rebounded -- literally -- while beginning to fulfill the promise he flashed as a rookie. The third-year player ranks in the top 10 in rebounds and double-doubles (35) entering games this weekend. "I decided to step my game up and go hard," Jefferson said. Jefferson missed seven games after having an appendectomy in early November, but he emerged as the go-to guy for the Celtics during a franchise-record 18-game losing streak. "We had a legit excuse," Jefferson said of the skid, alluding to the absence of all-star Paul Pierce.

yeah, I like the Kid from Kentucky...I think the Celts just have not come together as a team...no chemistry...but there is talent there.
