i do think Pierce deserves some MVP consideration

the team went like 2-23 while Pierce was out if that doesnt show he is a good candidate for MVP i dont know what does

In the truest sense, yeah, that's what an MVP is supposed to be -- a guy a team just can't win without. But considering how overwhelmingly lousy the Celtics are, I can't imagine Pierce really being a viable candidate.

Ditto, and his stats go up just because he is probably options A,B andC on the team...pity he never got to play on a good Celtic team.
