turns out my son-in-law has a recent version. dunno what he paid for it, but I'd guess it's more than I made in most of the years I was working. sure is nice...
I drove his 2008 Ford Crew Cab Diesel Dually recently .. there might be one option he didn't get, but I'm not sure what it'd be.
he works at the HQ of a well known insurance co and owns a welding business on the side (he's also a workaholic!) everytime he needs to get a new truck for his crew, he passes his down to his shop foreman who passes his ... 'till the one who needs a truck gets one. And he goes out and buys the latest super nice one within 200 miles. It's always a Ford (though he's not really stuck on Fords) and it's usually black (he makes the guys take care of "his" trucks so weekly wash jobs seem a small price to pay to get to drive around in his "working man's" luxury wagon.)
too bad he isn't really interested in racing...
