| Baylor AD wants garbage from basketball fans to end By BRIAN DAVIS / The Dallas Morning News WACO – With two straight home games being interrupted by debris being thrown on the court, Baylor athletic director Ian McCaw went on the offensive Thursday to try and put a stop to it. Officials waved off the final 1.8 seconds of Texas A&M's 71-57 victory over Baylor on Wednesday night after half-full plastic soda bottles came flying onto the court. It started raining debris just after A&M's Donald Sloan threw down an emphatic dunk. Earlier in the game, someone threw a yellow mini basketball onto the court. Two A&M fans were escorted out even though it was unclear if they actually were the guilty party. | Re: Baylor AD wants garbage from basketball fans to end Close the court and let the teams play with no fans. When season ticket holders see their money going up in flames they may want to turn in the guilty people so they can actually watch the game. It's not the ideal solution but one to consider.
