| Mike Brown wins Coach of Year Cavaliers Coach Mike Brown has won the NBA's Coach of the Year award. He is the second coach in franchise history to win the award. Brown directed the Cavaliers to a NBA and franchise best 66-16 record. The Cavaliers are the 12th team in NBA history to win 66 games or more in a season.
