i never watched the other teams since the dream team and dream team 2, thought it was to flashy and one man street bball. But from watching this team ive grown to love watching this team, they dont seem to view themselves as an all star team they seem to see them self AS a National team, you see it with all the visit to army bases they have done, iniviting troops to the games against PR. Also you see it with their handshakes, all their handshakes end in a salute. What you guys think of this team?

If they cannot win with Coach K guys, there is only one man left out there that can possibly do the job. Anyone see where I am going with this? But it won't come down to the "Generall". This team should wipe the floor with whatever's out there.

this is actually a team, so i think they will win and i think k is better then the generall you speak of

We have a national basketball team? I thought they dumped that idea since we finished so poorly last time. Haha, I'm just kidding.

They definitely have the potential this time around. If they continue to focus on teamwork and Dwayne Wade they should do well. Is a medal coming our way by the end of the tournament?

Thus far Team USA has dominated everyone else. They look to be a lock for AT LEAST a silver medal. I'd say this formula will work for the next Olympic Games.

They finally got smart and picked the best "team" instead of the best individuals. And good guys for the most part.

Not only that.....they had to sign a contract til the end of the 2008 Beijing Olympics....

They're not messing around this time around....

They've had a few surprises....Italy game them a good go!

Another thing I noticed that alot of the favorites weren't covering the spread....

ahhh, well....If USA doesn't win (yeah right), then Go Greece!

There's betting on these games? Nothing surprises me. A friend of mine asked me if I wanted into his "Little League World Series Pool." Now there are very few pools I turn down but I didn't want to have anything to do with betting on 10 year olds.
