The Hornets acquired Peja Stojacovic in a sign and trade deal for the rights to a 7'1 center from England who has never played in the NBA- Andrew Betts who was drafted in 1998. Good acquisition. I think the Hornets make the playoffs this year. Anybody else?

I do like what they did in the draft, there starting five will look something like:
PG: Chris Paul
SG: JR Smith
SF: Pedro Stojakovic
PF: David West
C: Hilton Armstrong

With Kirk Snyder, Tyson Chandler, Cedric Simmons and Desmond Mason coming off the bench. This team definitely has playoff potential, last year they had a penchant for over acheiving against championship caliber opponents, it is entirely conceivable they make the playoffs and get as high as a #5 seed.
